#LittleSummerJOY Project | List of Supplies Using My Own Stash
Who's ready for the #LittleSummerJoy project that was just announced on July 1st??? I am!

I am so very excited to be doing yet another project with Julie + Jen from Little Paper Projects. In April, I contributed to the #MySelfieScrapbook project they created and it was an incredible experience about the value of loving, accepting, and celebrating yourself.
This free summer class promises to be just as enriching! The theme is "joy". This is an open format project so I want to encourage you to find what fits best with your schedule, budget, and style. For me, I plan to use items I already own and focus on a 6x8 binder of summer memories and inspiration, pocket style photo displays, some journaling, textures and fresh, clean colors.
Dictionary.com defines the word JOY [noun] : 1. the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation.
Documenting those little moments of happiness and delight are what this project is all about! Over the summer months (here in US), the weather is typically warm, the days are long, and life seems to slow down for just a little while. Take advantage of the kids being home from school, that week long summer vacation, and the extended hours of sunlight to really focus on what brings joy into your life.
I chose to "shop my own stash" for this project and use items I already own. I intend to do a mix up of styles including hybrid Project Life, Smashbook, and Art Journal. Below, is a list of supplies I've lined up to use. Some or all will make it into my project one way or another in addition to any other new products I come across and feel I want to implement. I've also started a Pinterest board for additional ideas!
