I follow a lot of blogs... Chalk it up to being an avid reader. Since I don't make time for books now a days, I read blogs instead. You can find most of my favorites on BlogLovin'.
I enjoy following other bloggers who share little peaks into their daily lives because as you already know, I'm slightly obsessed with day to day photography, documenting daily life, and sharing life stories. Some of my favorite bloggers who share this type of content are Ali Edwards, Kellie Winnell, and Rachel over at Big City Quiet. While I don't know these women personally, I enjoy reading their posts and love seeing their take on day to day life.
As a result, I've decided to share more of my day to day photos with you in a round up right here on my blog on Fridays. I'll be sharing images I've posted to Instagram as well as ones I've taken that will be included in my Project Life album. These images will be a conglomeration of pictures taken with my Nikon D7100, Nikon D40, and iPhone 6+.
I haven't really even decided what to call these posts, so for right now I'm sticking with "Around Here - Week in Photos" Since I was working on this idea and HAD a busy weekend, here are some photos from the week of Feb 20. - Feb 27. I'll catch up with some more photos on Friday.
When I sit at the kitchen table to work on the laptop, Addie constantly bugs me. She likes to be held but doesn't understand that her 22lb. self is too big to sit in my lap and allow me to work.
This past week we had a lot of snow again. I love it, I'd been complaining this winter had been too mild for quite some time. Not only that, but snow meant one snow day last week for me.
Once again, as I work at the table, this little dog is begging me to give her attention. As if she didn't already get enough.
Part of my morning routine is let Addie out of her kennel and take her outside. This particular morning, we woke up to lots more snow.
This week I had an awesome little flashback to my teenage years. When I was in high school my sister and I were gifted a Playstation and later we purchased a PS2. My parents brought the PS2 to my house last weekend and I was able to hook it up and play for a few hours to get some "Crash Bandicoot" game time in before I returned the game system to them. It was a great flashback but I realized my patience level for video games has greatly dimenished.
Photos taken with either my Nikon D7100 have been edited with Lightroom 4 and photos taken with my iPhone 6+ edited in Pic-Tap-Go app.
