Simple, Minimal Project Life Inspiration | 12x12 Layout featuring Little Lamm & Co. and Color Cast Designs

Around here, the fourth of July is kind of a big deal. Not only is it one of my favorite holidays, it also hosts one of our fun summer traditions.  You've probably read about how we get together with my family to go out to our church's park on the lake and watch the fireworks. I love it, its the perfect addition to the fourth of July festivities.

Recently I shared this layout from a couple of years ago. While working on that spread, I began thinking about what designs I wanted to use for this year's photos.  The decision was pretty simple. I chose the Stars and Stripes journal card set from my friend Amie over at Little Lamm & Co.  These lovely cards have soft muted colors that made my heart happy.

Of course I couldn't resist keeping it simple and just adding a few select embellishments, like the wood veneer and acrylics shown above from Color Cast Designs.

I couldn't resist throwing in one of my own stickers for a bit of texture and versatility.

Wrapping up the layout was easy when I used a Paislee Press template to journal on a 4x6 card.

What do you think?
