Soul Raging is a book on fire.

The highly-anticipated, epic conclusion to the Book of Wars Series is finally here and readers will not want to miss this book!

Join Iskra and the Reaper team, as they walk through the shadows and stumble along the now-blurred line of loyalty when Leif separates from the team to battle his own demons before the final war prophesied begins. Without fail, Ronie Kendig once again delivers a story that is soul-riveting, deeply satisfying and wildly exciting with a plot that twists, turns, bends and captivates readers to the very last page.

As Prophecies in the Book of the Wars Unfold, the Only Hope Is Uniting with the Enemy.

Leif Metcalfe is done waiting for answers and seizes control, a move that comes with a high price and a deadly risk: teaming up with the enemy. He can only pray what he uncovers will heal the wounds he's inflicted on those he loves.

Iskra Todorova refuses to believe Leif is irrevocably lost, despite evidence to the contrary. While trying to protect her daughter and track down Leif before it's too late, Iskra wonders if a member of the evil organization ArC has been in their midst since the beginning.

Torn apart by injuries and opposing views about Leif's treachery, team Reaper hunts one of their own. The only thing they agree on is not stopping but starting the final battle prophesied in the Book of the Wars.

★★★★★  | Readers will not want to miss the Book of Wars series by award-winning author, Ronie Kendig! This final book is the epic conclusion to a series so in-depth and creative, readers will find themselves lost in the pages for hours at a time.

Kendig’s masterful creation of paramilitary stories is like no other.

In this series, she has skillfully continued the story of a team of male and female characters who’s diversity, talents and magnetism captivate readers with a sense of heroism and yet, real-world personalities and problems. The amusing banter amongst the lovable Reaper team displays a team of friends, who are fiercely loyal to one another and their cause.

As they work together to uncover the final prophesies in the Book of Wars and the panels that depict the Neiothen’s impact on Leif’s life, the plot thickens and loyalties stretch.

Kendig captures readers’ attention with intense scenes and gripping battles strewn throughout the book, equally balanced with a story of loyalty, friendship and romance. The added benefit of an imaginative, spell-binding supernatural element and how she manages to include just the right amount of all of this, is an attribute only she can deliver. I seriously did not want to put this book down. I simply couldn’t devour it fast enough.

To fully immerse yourself as a reader into this series, I highly recommend reading Storm Rising and Kings Falling respectively, before reading this final story. This series is “clean” and falls under the Christian fiction category, but can be perceived as edgy with its military environment, thus I believe even secular readers will enjoy this series. I highly recommend this series to adults and mature readers 16+.

Also, if you haven’t read any of Kendig’s other series such as the Tox Files, Discarded Heroes or Quiet Professionals, I highly recommend those as well.

Ronie Kendig is an Army brat who grew up in the classic military family, with her father often TDY and her mother holding down the proverbial fort. Their family moved often, which left Ronie attending six schools by the time she’d entered fourth grade. Her only respite and “friends” during this time were the characters she created.

It was no surprise when she married a military veteran—her real-life hero—in June 1990.  Married more than twenty-five years, Ronie and her husband have homeschooled for the last eighteen years. Despite the craziness of life, Ronie finds balance and peace with her faith, family, and retired military working dog in Northern Virginia.

Ronie has a deep love and passion for people, especially hurting people, which is why she pursued and obtained a B.S. in Psychology from Liberty University. Ronie speaks and teaches across the country and mentors other writers.
