"Besides Donuts, You Are My Favorite" | A Cute, Simple and Kid-Friendly Donut Inspired Valentine's Day Breakfast Idea!

By adding a glass of milk, some little paper flags and a cute tag from Paislee Press, you can snazz up the breakfast table and bring a smile to your little ones face this Valentine’s Day morning in under 30 minutes!
There is nothing more adorable and deliciously sweet than heart-shaped, sprinkle-covered donuts! After grabbing a dozen of our favorite donuts, I brought them home and made this cute donut stack. I couldn’t resist adding some adorable little DIY paper toothpick flags and a tag that reads “Besides donuts, you are my favorite!”.

If you’re not familiar with using digital scrapbooking elements, they’re actually very simple to use. I used the kits linked below and simply printed out the elements I wanted on 8.5x11 white cardstock using my Canon Pixma home printer (color ink). Then, using scissors, I cut the designs out in my desired shape and simply glued them to toothpicks. I also cut the tag out and layered it onto a printed out sheet of the “xoxo” paper to create the adorable tag.

This fun Valentine’s Day breakfast surprise was a smashing success and it felt pretty good to throw together a creative idea with minimal effort!
