MIND BLOWING SUSPENSE!

With everything from diverse characters and their dynamic personalities, to a storyline that’s uniquely created to build in suspense and intrigue, Tom Threadgill masterfully delivers another gripping read!

Get ready for another wild ride! I simply could not put this novel down. Detective Amara Alvarez is back and working hard to solve a recent murder… In this exceptional new release, Threadgill captivates his readers with every turn of the page and mesmerizes them with his expertly crafted plot!

She's following her instincts. They're following her every move.

After her rescue of nearly fifty kidnapped children made international headlines, Amara Alvarez gets what she's worked for: a transfer to San Antonio's Homicide Division. But reality sets in quickly when her first case, the suspicious death of a teenager at a crowded local water park, plunges her life into chaos.

As the investigation moves forward, Amara finds herself stalked online by cybercriminals who uncover her personal life in frightening detail. With few leads, she's forced to resort to unconventional methods to find the killer and prevent her first murder investigation from ending up in the cold case files.

Tom Threadgill is back with another riveting page-turner featuring the detective who is willing to put everything on the line to see justice served and lives protected.

★★★★★ | Network of Deceit is incredibly intriguing and simply riveting! I loved this newest novel from author Tom Threadgill, who kept me guessing the whole way through! I couldn’t put this book down… I was easily entertained with suspense that builds evenly throughout the story, as Threadgill unravels an intricate mystery in a masterful way. The book is interspersed with wit, humor, real life events and even a bit of romance!

If you read his novel, Collision of Lies, you’ll be delighted to find that Threadgill brings back Detective Amara Alvarez. I love her character! She is smart, capable. cunning and a first class introvert when she’s not kicking butt at her job! I easily identify with her and I think many women would want to be her. Her Hispanic heritage adds diversity and flare to this novel and I adore the way she loves her family so well and was fascinated with how Threadgill allows us, as readers, to get inside her head.

Without giving too much away, I’ll say that I was happy to see Starsky had returned as well and having a front row seat to watching the relationship between Alvarez and Starsky evolve was one of my favorite parts of this novel. I was pulling for them the whole way through. Several of my favorite scenes in the story were when these two were together, especially near the end.

In conclusion, Network of Deceit is excellent all the way around. It is well-written, well-planned and masterfully created. The characters are down-to-earth, relatable and likable. The suspense is fantastic and the entire novel is clean. While there are some mentions of God, the story isn’t necessarily faith-based which may help it appeal to both Christian and secular readers. This story unfolds at just the right pace to keep readers engrossed and involved. Just like Collision of Lies, this book is another five star recommendation I’ll be sharing about for a long time to come!
