Ages: 8+

From conservation to protecting endangered species to sustainable living, All of Creation offers young readers accessible and fascinating information on the challenges our planet faces and practical ways we can care for the magnificent world around us.

Drawing on science and Scripture, this hope-filled and kid-friendly guide to planet Earth addresses our most pressing questions about caring for and respecting God's world, such as:

  • What are the biggest challenges our planet faces, and what impact do they have on our lives?

  • What guidance does the Bible offer to help us navigate environmental issues such as pollution, food shortages, and deforestation?

  • What simple choices can we make to help restore and protect God's creation?

Gorgeously detailed illustrations throughout highlight the beauty of the natural world, while practical tips and activities at the end of each chapter show how we can become better stewards of the Earth and support efforts that make a positive difference in the world.

My Thoughts:

I absolutely love this valuable, exciting new resource! It is a really fantastic book that is full of in-depth information, facts and tidbits about our planet and the way it works. Divided into eleven sections, this book is easy to read and understand as it relates scientific facts and natural processes (such as the carbon cycle, pollination and ecosystems) back to Scripture. It aids children with a brief overview of environmental issues, then points their minds back to Scripture and how God asks us to care for the earth He’s given us to live in. The book then identifies ways we can come together to fight against these issues with creative solutions like recycling, planting gardens, volunteer clean up projects and so much more! There are unique and fun activities suggested, Bible verses included and is presented in a hopeful, energetic way. It is great for learning to cultivate a life of stewardship and conservation. I love it! There is truly so much information presented in a simple way that I plan to review portions of this book with my Kindergartner! I know we will be coming back to this book time and again throughout our homeschool journey to dive deeper into the subjects covered in this book.

This is a definite recommendation from our family to yours! This book can easily span grades from Kindergarten to middle school and be something that children of many ages can enjoy and utilize. I believe this book will be a fun resource for homeschool families, co-op groups, schools and church libraries. It would also make a great gift for a child who enjoys time in nature and loves to explore the great outdoors!
